Resilience Informed Therapy is a strength-based model developed by Dr. Schwartz that has been applied by therapeutic practitioners around the world to help people recover from PTSD and Complex-PTSD. This model of care involves:
An EMDR approved consultant through Evergreen Certifications, Dr. Arielle Schwartz provides group consultation for clinical psychologists and other health professionals to come together and ask questions, discuss specific cases, and gain insights into EMDR application and Resilience Informed Therapy techniques for enhancing individual practice.
In delivering consultation, Dr. Schwartz partners with PESI, a nonprofit organization that helps create affordable and accessible trainings to a wide range of mental health clinicians serving highly diverse populations. This partnership required Dr. Schwartz to let go of her consultant status and certification with EMDRIA. However, while historically PESI trainings were not aligned with EMDRIA’s standard of care, she has worked extensively with PESI to strengthen and refine a training of excellence that now meets these high standards to produce the best quality of mental health care.
The nature of Dr. Schwartz’s Integrative EMDR and Resilience Informed Therapy Consultation Groups is to support the clinician as a whole person. We as clinicians are humans first, and when we feel seen, heard, and understood, we are better able to support our clients.
All participants are encouraged but not required to have had prior EMDR training.
Please note: Dr. Schwartz is unable to offer personalized recommendations for EMDR training. If you are interested in experiencing EMDR training with Dr. Schwartz, you can explore available courses here.
Group sessions begin with the opportunity for each member to check in, followed by the formulation of a list of topics to be covered regarding clinical cases and case conceptualization, and closing with a period for general questions about Integrative EMDR Therapy. Any remaining time in the 2-hour session is spent discussing topics relevant to the members according to the formulated list of topics.
