A self-paced, polyvagal and somatically-informed course that offers tools for healing burnout, chronic stress, and trauma. By the end of this course participants will gain tools to regulate their nervous system, create safety within, and embrace life’s challenges as opportunities for growth. But more than simply learning theory and tools, this journey is about coming home to your true nature—because when you are deeply connected to your body and inner world, you are better able to come out of survival states and into embodied presence aligned with your true nature and essential self.
The course weaves together somatic skills, yoga philosophy and psychological tools to work with physical, emotional and spiritual material.
Eight weeks have been divided into two parts:
Part 1: Focuses on tuning in to the body and finding safety.
Part 2: Builds upon the safe foundation we established in Part 1 and moves more deeply into personal history and the activation that can come with it in order to work through physical, psychological and spiritual blocks.
This advanced consultation group blends learning and consultation to help you integrate Somatic Experiencing into the EMDR 8-phase protocol.
You’ll explore somatically informed case conceptualization tools, effective preparation techniques, interweaves that support completion of the threat response cycle, and somatic curiosities for Phase 8 re-evaluation.
