An Interview with Dr. Arielle Schwartz
This interview on the Businesses in Bloom Podcast with Juliet Austin looks at topics of my personal journey as a psychologist and author. Within, I share stories of my own work-life balance as a wife and mother of two. If you are building a psychotherapy practice and are curious to learn more about how social media, website support, and cultivating a successful business, check this out.
The Business of Psychotherapy
When psychotherapists are in graduate school we learn about how to provide competent clinical care for our clients. We also have opportunities to practice within agency based practicum and internships settings. However, many graduate with an intention to start a private practice and are at a loss with how to set up the infrastructure of a business. It is important to know how to market yourself so that your good clinical skills can become accessible to the clients who will benefit.
Personally, in addition to providing psychotherapy for clients, I experience great satisfaction in supporting other clinicians. I do so by providing trainings for therapists as well as consultation and supervision.
In this interview, Juliet Austin explores my own journey from being a graduate student to having a thriving private practice and a published book.
