Amy Annesley

Amy Annesley, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, somatic psychotherapist, and shamanic practitioner with a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. She began her career working in hospice and has continued to work in a healing capacity in a variety of settings for over twenty years.

Amy is certified in EMDR and is a consultant-in-training. She is also certified in the administration of Dr. Stephen Porges’ Safe and Sound Protocol, and has completed a 3 year professional training and initiation in the art and practice of shamanic healing with Julie M. Kramer. She completed Dr. Arielle Schwartz’s Vagus Nerve Yoga training and has recently embarked on the journey of becoming a yoga teacher.

It is Amy’s experience that we are all of the ages we’ve ever been, and she incorporates parts work into the foundation of her approach to therapy. Her deep sensitivity, relational style, and compassion infuse her work. She finds the opportunity to support clients in embracing their unique voice and accompany them on their healing journey to be a great honor. Amy is dedicated to her own healing path and through this has come to understand healing from trauma as the work of the soul.
