You are not broken, in need of fixing. You are deeply hurt, in need of care.

At the Center for Resilience Informed Therapy, we apply research-based techniques to form an integrative mind-body approach to trauma recovery that begins with the acceptance of trauma and evolves as you learn to trust your capacity for growth.

Resilience Informed Therapy

A strength-based model developed by Dr. Arielle Schwartz, Resilience Informed Therapy has been applied by therapeutic practitioners around the world to help people recover from PTSD and Complex-PTSD. This model of care involves:
  • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Somatic Therapy (Body-Centered Psychotherapy)
  • Mind-body Therapies (Therapeutic Yoga, Mindfulness, and Integrative Healthcare)
  • Parts Work (Gestalt, Internal Family Systems)
  • Relational Psychotherapy
Our trauma specialists bring together their wealth of knowledge and research in these therapeutic modalities to not only deliver their own Resilience Informed Therapy practices but to facilitate community-wide healing through public events, courses, and resources.

Our Practitioners

Each of the Center’s practitioners offers their own unique approach to Resilience Informed Therapy, applying extensive knowledge and research in psychotherapeutic techniques—including EMDR, somatic therapy, and relational psychotherapy—to facilitate a positive approach to healing trauma.

Trauma Can Either Lead to PTSD or Resilience.

Resilience is not a trait that you either have or do not have but a set of strategies that can be learned and practiced. Operating from this principle, our objective is to equip you with the resources and support you need to skillfully work through traumatic life events and to be an active and creative participant in shaping your life and your future.
